With NEW-LIFESTYLES you can purchase in bulk and save BIG! Enjoy a savings of over $2000 when you purchase a carton of 200 NL-800 or NL-1000 accelerometers.
Both the NL-800 and the NL-1000 are very simple to use. For the NL-800 it's set the clock and go!
For the NL-1000 it's
set the clock, set your stride length, set the intensity threshold and go!
Placement and positioning on the body affect the accuracy of simple suspended lever arm pedometers, therefore NEW-LIFESTYLES engineered the new NL-800 and NL-1000 (like its research-acclaimed predecessor the NL-2000) so that it counts accurately on nearly all body types including those with bigger tummies.
NL-800 Accelerometer Features:
- Steps, 7-day memory and time of day (clock)
- Specially designed patent-pending metal/plastic hybrid clip (We married the strength of metal with the holding power of plastic.)
- Protective cover to prevent inadvertent resets
- Automatically resets daily totals!
- Stores step totals for 7 days
- Silent--makes no clicking noise
- Counts steps at slower speeds and on the overweight and obese better than suspended-lever arm pedometers
- Activity monitor dimensions: 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 7/8 inches (6.35 x 3.81 x 2.22 cm)
- Activity monitor weight: 1.1 ounce (31.2 grams)

REAL TIME
-
Shows current day modes--STEPS, ACTIVE STEPS, ACTIVE MINUTES, DISTANCE, ACTIVE CALORIES, TOTAL CALORIES and TIME (Clock).
- Use MODE key to scroll through various modes.
- In addition, when in TIME (Clock) mode the dot matrix graph displays physical activity intensity level. Review (scroll through) current day’s PA intensity by using < key.
- The Red Line across the display equates to moderate activity.
- 0 to 1 dot indicates no activity to light activity; 2 to 4 vertical dots indicates moderate & vigorous activity
MEMORY
-
The memory function stores STEPS, ACTIVE STEPS, ACTIVE MINUTES, DISTANCE, ACTIVE CALORIES, and TOTAL CALORIES for 7 or 14 days and displays average values for Week 1 (or Week 1 and Week 2 when set for 14 day memory).
-
Review (scroll through) previous days by pressing MEMORY key. Day 1 = yesterday, 2 = two days ago, 3 = three days ago, etc. For example, if today is Monday, then “1” would be Sunday, “2” would be Saturday, “3” would be Friday, etc.
- Then use the MODE key to view previous days’ STEPS, ACTIVE STEPS, ACTIVE MINUTES, etc.
- When in Memory Mode the dot matrix intensity bar graph displays bouts of physical activity over a 24-hour period. A bar with 4 dots represents at least 10 minutes of moderate intensity activity, 3 dots represents at least 5 minutes of moderate intensity activity, 2 dots represents at least 2 minutes of moderate intensity activity, 1 dot represents less than 2 minutes of moderate intensity activity, and zero dots represents no movement or not wearing the device.
ADVANCED SET-UP
-
The Advanced Set-up was designed for researchers, but others may also find its features useful. To enter Advanced Set-up press and hold SET key to enter regular Set-up. With the hour flashing press and hold SET key again until “Unloc Keyloc” appears on display. This is Advanced Set-up.
